The AEQ AM-04 four-channel stereo audio monitor is the ideal solution when working with diverse audio formats such as analog, digital AES-EBU, and embedded audio in SDI video signals. The AM-04 can be used to derive all integrated audio channels from SDI video signals.

The AM-04 offers 4 analog audio inputs (2 stereo signals), 2 stereo AES EBU digital inputs, and 1 video SDI input (where stereo audio pairs are acquired). The AM-04 also provides: 1 analog stereo pair output, 1 high quality headphone output, 1 composite video output, 2 digital AES outputs, and 4 analog audio outputs (derived from the SDI video input).

The AM-04 provides over/under level and sustained out-of-phase alarm capabilities, as well as 2 phase indicators and 2 VU meters with user assignable scale, adjustable color transition points, and peak-hold capability.

All user controls are conveniently located on the front panel, allowing quick, easy and error-free setup, control, and operation. Controls consist of easy to use switches and potentiometers that alleviate having to navigate through menus.

The compact AM-04 is only one rack unit (1 RU), and includes magnetic isolation for use near CRTs and video monitors. Despite it small footprint, it offers excellent audio quality because of its multi-stage amplifiers in each channel.
